Kristi Saladino Schaaf
Kentucky Personal Injury Attorney
To Kristi Saladino Schaaf, representing injured people is as much about developing trust and friendships as it is about providing sound legal advice. Kristi tries hard to help guide and move her clients through the legal process by listening to their concerns, providing information, and keeping an open dialogue.
Kristi began her legal career 21 years ago when she returned home to practice law with her father and founder of Saladino & Schaaf, PLLC (formerly Saladino Law Firm), Charles A. Saladino. For as long as she can remember, Kristi always wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps and help injured people.
Kristi attended Oldham County High School outside of Louisville before receiving her BA from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Kristi attended law school at Salmon P. Chase College of Law in Northern Kentucky, where she received the American Jurisprudence Award for Criminal Procedure and the Bureau of National Affairs Student Award. Kristi began her practice representing injured victims immediately after graduating from law school in 1994.
Kristi spends much of her workday meeting with clients, negotiating with insurance companies and evaluating cases. After work, Kristi enjoys spending time with her family. She is married to Gary Schaaf, another attorney in the firm, and together their two children, Ethan and Emma Kate, keep them hopping. Ethan attends McCracken County High School and Emma Kate attends Lone Oak Middle School. Kristi enjoys being active in the community, previously serving as President of Paducah Charity League and several years on the boards of Easter Seals West Kentucky and Market House Theatre. In her spare time, Kristi is an avid tennis player, enjoys sports (especially watching UK) and spending time with family and friends.
“It is an absolute pleasure doing what I do. I get to meet and work with all walks of life. I truly enjoy the opportunity to help people put back the pieces of their lives and restore their hope for a brighter tomorrow.” Kristi
