March 20, 2009 - Lawsuit Over Kanye 'Bash'
A Queens hip-hop impresario felt a different kind of rap at Kanye West's birthday blowout , and now he's suing.
Steve Lobel, manager of acts like Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and Nipsey Hussle, says he was knocked on the head when a fixture came crashing down at the posh Louis Vuitton store where the party was held.
Lobel sued Louis Vuitton and the party's promoter in Queens Supreme Court last month.
The panels were erected in the East 57th Street store to make it look more like a club, according to the suit.
A Louis Vuitton spokeswoman did not immediately return a call for comment.
